Princesses and Thesis

Because of my love of the Disney princesses, I have decided to incorporate them into my capstone project or Thesis. I hope and plan to explore the effects, both positive and negative, that the Disney princesses have on girls. My research and exploration will go into how young girls take what they observe and learn from watching the princesses and apply it in their lives when they become adults. When I speak of observations learned from the princesses I mean how they should be treated and what their mate (or Prince Charming) should be like. Are these observations and things learned from Disney princesses when we're young affecting us psychologically when we get older? Are these young women truly good role models, or are they just setting us up for disappointment in the long run? I hope to interview some young girls from my job, grade levels kinder - 2nd. Also, women around my age, 20-25, will be interviewed on the subject matter.
